GREEN MATTER GROUP
Green Matter Group (GMG) is a Singapore-based holding company with a mission to disrupt traditional industries through sustainable, eco-friendly solutions. GMG operates two key subsidiaries: Green Matter Technologies (GMT), based in Bangkok, Thailand, and Green Matter Farms (GMF), located in Lampung, Thailand. Together, they form a cohesive ecosystem that drives innovation in bio-based products while positively impacting the environment and local communities.
VISION AND MISSION
GMG’s vision is to lead the transition to a more sustainable future by replacing conventional materials with innovative, environmentally beneficial alternatives. The group is dedicated to using biomaterials that not only maximize yield but also improve soil health, benefit local farmers, and reduce carbon footprints. At the core of this mission is the cultivation and utilization of industrial hemp, which provides a versatile, renewable resource for various industries.
GREEN MATTER TECHNOLOGIES
GMT is focused on transforming a wide range of biomaterials—including cassava, sugarcane, maize, and industrial hemp—into intermediate products such as bioplastics and fibers. These products are used in downstream industries for manufacturing sustainable alternatives to conventional plastics and construction materials. GMT aims to be a global leader in bioplastics, offering solutions that are biodegradable, compostable, and climate-positive. It works closely with bioplastic wholesalers and fiber suppliers to supplement its production and ensure a consistent supply of sustainable materials.
GREEN MATTER FARMS
GMF specializes in the cultivation of industrial hemp, managing both in-house operations and a network of contract farmers who use 100% organic farming methods. The farms produce high-quality feedstock to supply GMT’s manufacturing processes, with a focus on sustainability and community impact. GMF uses hemp strains from HempThai, which are known for their high biomass yield and adaptability to diverse climates. The farm’s practices not only improve soil health but also support local farmers and communities through fair compensation and sustainable agricultural techniques.
GREEN MATTER MICROGREENS
GREEN MATTER MICROGREENS specializes in cultivating premium microgreens using sustainable, soil-free growing methods. They produce nutrient-dense microgreens for restaurants, health food stores, and direct consumers. Leveraging controlled environment agriculture, GMM ensures year-round production of high-quality produce. Their focus is on sustainability, strengthening local food systems, and delivering superior nutritional benefits through fresh, locally grown microgreens.
